What can I expect from United States?

The United States has so much to offer!

Each state is unique, and there’s truly something for everyone – Relaxing tropical holidays, mountain adventures, a visit to one of the many National Parks, or a day in the big city of New York.

The US is so diverse, with beautiful scenic drives, cosmopolitan city life, cultural diversity, beautiful beaches, amazing natural wonders and so much more.

How to Get There

Regardless of where you are traveling from, US has many gateway cities that allow for easy access, such as New York, Washington, Atlanta and Miami on the East Coast; and Los Angeles and San Francisco on the West.

Currency: The local currency of the United States is the US dollar (USD).

Language: English is the official language of the United States.

Credit Cards & ATMs: Credit cards can be used at most hotels, car-rental companies, restaurants, and shops.

ATMs are easily accessible at banks, shopping areas, and grocery stores.

Plugs: The standard voltage is 120 V, frequency is 60 Hz. A universal adapter with surge protection is best. Make sure to use a converter for hair dryers.

Safety: The United States are generally safe, but be aware when visiting large cities or secluded areas.


Best Time to Visit

The United States is a year-round destination, depending on what you would like to see and do during your visit.  The US follows northern seasons, where December-February is Winter, March-May is Spring, June-Aug is Summer, and September-November is Fall.  However, each state can have drastically different weather.  For example, Florida has a tropical climate that is generally warm to hot all year, while Maine will see extreme winters and warm summers.
