When you share 1 car (a minivan 😎), skip nights out, and eat at home so you can save, but you can’t seem to figure out what happened to your bank account…💸 And then you remember: 🏝🌍 Yeah, we’re rich in memories! 😎✈

So I have a confession to make… Before I met Josh, I was a shoes and bags girl! I’m never been huge into shopping, but I loved buying shoes and matching handbags. So much so that when we decided to put organizers in our bedroom closet, I put in an entire floor to ceiling section for my shoes. Over time, we’ve slowly become more and more minimalistic, living with a capsule wardrobe each year. Now I can’t remember the last time I wore heels. 👠😳. And I’ll take a trip over any bag! (Unless it’s a suitcase! 😜)

This journey together has taken us from newlywed bliss to a life full of love, laughter, and a whole lot of family travel. Our best memories are the ones we've made exploring the world hand in hand, and I can’t wait to see where our next chapter takes us. Wrapping up a month of pure magic in the Maldives ✨ From sunrises over the ocean to sunsets with sandy toes, every day was a new adventure. This summer was definitely one for the record books. Our girls took the plunge with their first scuba dives, and after 13 years, Josh and I dusted off our scuba skills 🌊🤿. We surfed as a family, cooked together, made chocolate truffles and body scrubs, gave back with beach clean up’s and even let the kids take the wheel (golf cart style 😉). Topping it all off, we go to hang with an astronaut, reminding us to always shoot for the stars 🌟.

It’s hard to say goodbye to this paradise, but we leave with full hearts, countless memories, and a renewed appreciation for the beauty of our world. Until next time, Maldives… 🌊 We hope that we’ve been able to inspire some of you to consider a visit to this magical part of our planet! 🏝️

🚀✨ Just returned from the most *out of this world* experience at Space Camp at COMO Maalifushi, led by the incredible astronaut @astro_nicole and space advisor/astronaut wrangler @xtina_korp! We’re still pinching ourselves after meeting a REAL woman astronaut! 🌟 There’s something so powerful about showing our kids that the sky isn’t the limit—it’s just the beginning. Nicole shared her journey and how space taught her to see our planet with new eyes, reminding us that we are all connected.

🌍💫 From building bottle rockets to painting art for a space suit, we even became art ourselves—every moment reminded us how special our planet is. 🌱✨ We also cleaned up a local island, because if space teaches us anything, it’s this: we are all passengers on this beautiful Earth. Let’s care for it, the way we would our spaceship.🌎💙 @comohotels hosts Space Camps a few times a year in several of their hotels, so if you have a space curious kid (or parent), make sure to add this to your bucket list!!

Don’t get me wrong, sometimes after we’ve been traveling for a while, I just want a washing machine to do a couple loads and have clean clothes again… but I can do that for a day. 👣✨ Because sometimes, the only thing you need is time with your favorite people in a most magical place. 🌊 For us, that is always by the ocean. Although we love the mountains and enjoy anywhere outdoors, we’ve learned that we’re happiest with our feet in the sand, ocean breeze in our hair, and the sound of crashing waves. (Ideally, on a surf board, but you can’t always have it all!)
Six Senses Kanuhura has some of the widest beaches in the Maldives, and they’re gorgeous even in cloudy and windy conditions!
