The best time to visit Egypt is between October and April, when daytime temperatures are comfortable.  During this time you can expect sunny days and cool nights. However, this is also high season with an influx of tourists.  The summer season, May-September is a more affordable time to visit, but one can expect to begin sight-seeing excursions early in the morning in order to avoid the oppressive midday heat.
