Recently, my family and I embarked on a journey to this exclusive retreat, where every moment unfolded like a dream, leaving an indelible mark on our hearts and a yearning to return.

Approaching Zannier Hotel Bai San Ho, we were immediately struck by its natural beauty and graceful architecture. Set against a backdrop of lush foliage and a private beach, the property seamlessly blends traditional Vietnamese design elements with contemporary luxury, creating an ambiance of serene exclusivity. How will you access the property? The closest airports are Phu Cat (UIH) in Quy Nhon and Tuy Hoa (TBB) in Phu Yen, which are 60-80 minutes by car from the resort.  The resort can arrange for a private transfer vehicle, and if you want something more extravagant (or are simply young at heart), I highly recommend booking the limousine van, which even boasts a built in karaoke machine!

The accommodations at Zannier Hotel Bai San Ho are a sanctuary of refinement and elegance. Our family stayed in a 2-bedroom hilltop villa, and it far exceeded all of our expectations. It boasted breathtaking ocean views and a private infinity pool that beckoned us to unwind in style. The interior design, a fusion of modern aesthetics and local touches, exuded a sense of tranquility and luxury, creating a space where every detail spoke of thoughtful curation and comfort.

Each morning, the gentle symphony of the waves and rustling palm trees greeted us, enveloping us in a cocoon of peace and connection with nature. The villas at Zannier Hotel Bai San Ho are not just a place to stay; they are a retreat where luxury meets authenticity, and fun for all ages!

Culinary Excellence: A Gastronomic Journey

The culinary offerings at Zannier Hotel Bai San Ho are a celebration of Vietnamese flavors and global influences, curated with finesse and creativity. Three restaurants and 3 resort bars serve a brilliant balance of flavors- sweet, sour, spicy, and aromatic. From fresh seafood sourced locally to vibrant produce and authentic dishes, each meal is a sensorial delight that showcases the richness of Vietnamese cuisine. Dining at the hotel’s signature all-day dining restaurant, Nha O, is a journey of indulgence, with each dish a testament to the culinary expertise of the chefs and a celebration of the region’s gastronomic heritage. Lang Chai, a venue built of wood, on stilts, and facing the sea, exudes the charms of a local fishing village. It serves locally caught seafood, grilled meats, and pizzas directly from a wood-burning oven. And did I mention their Banh Mi station? The resort also offers exclusive culinary experiences, such as a traditional Vietnamese private dinner, hosted in impressive Bà Hai restaurant. Bà Hai is an extraordinary testament of authenticity in both style and atmosphere, a remarkable building on stilts that overlooks the rice-fields of the property. 

Activities and Exploration

While Zannier Hotel Bai San Ho is a sanctuary of relaxation, there is no shortage of activities and excursions for those seeking adventure and exploration. Snorkeling in crystal-clear waters, kayaking along the coast, and hiking through lush landscapes are just a few of the experiences on offer. The resort offers a variety of complimentary daily experiences that allow guests to sink into the local culture- basket boat rides, Vietnamese cooking classes, and rice planting and harvesting, to name a few. Guests can also choose from a variety cultural discoveries outside of the resort, such as a Phu Yen discovery tour, Cham Ruins visit, and tours of the neighboring fishing village and shellfish farms. Options abound in this peaceful corner of Vietnam!

Should you be looking for a more relaxing getaway, I’m happy to report that wellbeing is an integral part of Zannier Hotel Bai San Ho and the Zannier brand in general. The resort boasts a magnificent spa, the Hoa Spa, which features seven treatment rooms, saunas, hamams, a tea room, and a large relaxation area with gorgeous ocean views.

Family-Friendly Amenities: Fun For All Ages

Traveling with children? No problem! Zannier Hotel Bai San Ho hosts a range of family-friendly amenities and activities, including a dedicated kids’ club. From beach games to arts and crafts, the little ones are sure to be entertained while parents relax and enjoy the tranquility of the surroundings. Of course, the villas are also extremely accommodating for families and/or groups traveling together. Our 2-bedroom villa, for example, was compromised of two-bedrooms with an open-air common area in the middle, the perfect balance of accommodating families, while allowing for privacy.

Our stay at Zannier Hotel Bai San Ho was a symphony of authenticity, luxury, tranquility, and warm hospitality, creating a tapestry of memories that will linger in our hearts. While it may not be the most easily accessible resort in Vietnam, I must say that it is more than worth the effort.
